Where do I begin to and how do I thank my Lord and Savior enough for crossing my path of life with a friend so knowledgeable and so willing to help direct and teach a friend in the ways of being able to reach
others in ministry about the joy and love of our Lord... For a very long time, I prayed and asked for God to help me learn all that I needed to learn in order to reach others in the way that He would have me to do. For as time passed, I knew that my music ministry was to become so much more but I knew that there was much to learn. So, I also asked for someone to come into my life that would be able to be a "spritual mentor", if you will... a person that would be able to help me learn these things. How can I verbalize my thanks to God for sending you for this purpose???..... Well, all I know to do is just Praise Him... and thank you for being so willing to teach what God speaks through you. Bless you for all that you allow God to do through and with you.

Thank you so very much for the messages. I haven't talked with you lately and wanted you to know how much they mean to both me and my daughter, Nelda. She visited for a week the first of the month. For the first time since she was a child we shared Bible study each morning as we had coffee/tea. Sometimes this time lasted until lunch time. We learned so much from sharing and the Lord gave us each discernment as we discussed scripture. We used the Kings James, New International, and she had a concordance Bible. We could look up the different wording and sometimes new meanings would be so very clear. We could feel the Power of God as we studied His word. Please keep us both in your prayers. Just wanted to let you know how much your messages are meaning to us and we will continue to pray for you as you continue the Lord's work. In Christian love, Kathy Fisher
Jeff, Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!! Before reading this week's message, I was meditating about how much sickness, destruction and unbelief exists today. Even in the natural scope of time, when years ago there was no hospitals, medicine and few drs., that people relied on God more for their healings and natural means. There were not as many sickly folks as today either. Seems each generation has gotten more away from God, depending on mans ways, putting their faith in drs., tests, etc. instead of God's healing power. This is all part of satan's plan >and the lie. The word says ANYTHING that is not faith is sin. I just today read your message [Let the Dead Bury Their Dead] and it blessed my heart! confirmed and challenged me! I believe God's word and that if we aren't healed its not His fault but something on our end stopping us from receiving it. Example: unforgiveness, not giving enough, unbelief, not being obedient, etc. Our enemy will try to trip us up from receiving what God wants us to walk in. Truly He desires all His children to walk in the fullness of His Spirit. May our Lord, through His Holy Spirit pour out all wisdom, knowledge and a double portion upon you as you minister to others. One Sunday morning I was getting ready for church and the Lord told me to go to Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro to pray for a woman that He was going to heal. I meditated on what He'd said, and the word "coma" came into my mind. We went to church and during the service, the Lord continued to encourage me to obey what He'd said. When the service was over, He continued to speak this into my spirit--even on the drive home. During lunch, I prayed and confirmed that this was the Lord's voice I was hearing. I told Him, "Okay, Lord, I'll go, but you'll have to tell me what to do and say." He replied, "If you go, I'll tell you where to go and what to say." So I went.
While driving, I continued to meditate on this mission. The Lord told me to go to ICU and then gave me a vision of a woman in a hospital bed with green sheets. I said to myself, "Okay, coma, ICU; it makes sense." I thought the vision to be odd because I had never seen green sheets on a hospital bedonly white. I knew in my natural mind that this was going to appear strange. I didn't know anything, but that a woman in a coma was going to be healed. I approached the front desk and asked the receptionist where someone in a coma would be and she said, "In ICU." I walked to ICU and was greeted by a nurse. I asked her if there was a woman in a coma in the ward and she said that she couldn't give me that information. She asked for the woman's name and I told her that I didn't know, but that I had been sent to pray for her and that she was going to be healed. The nurse again said that she couldn't provide any information, but added that no one in ICU was in a coma. I asked her if someone in a coma could be somewhere else in the hospital. She said, "Yes" and suggested I contact the nursing supervisor via the receptionist at the front desk.
So, I walked back to the front desk and asked the receptionist to call the supervisor. She said she would have to page her and wait for a call back. While we waited, I told the receptionist that I had been sent by God to pray for a woman and that she was going to be healed. The supervisor called and I explained my request to her. Like the nurse before, she couldn't give any information to me--especially since I didn't have a name. I told her that I would get a name and get back in touch with her. After hanging up, I walked to the chapel to pray for the Lord to give me the woman's name.
Meanwhile, I was feeling kind of frustrated and the devil began telling me just to leave, that people thought I was crazy, etc. I went inside the chapel and began to pray for the Lord to give me the woman's name. It didn't take long--the name Saunders came into my mind. I continued to pray and the Lord gave me another vision--of the name Saunders printed in black on a white background.
I walked back to the front desk and told the receptionist that the Lord had given me the name Saunders. She picked up the hospital roster and gazed through the list. When a look of astonishment followed by a smile appeared on her face, I knew she had found the name. "We have a Saunders and she is in ICU," she said excitedly. I shook my head with a smile and returned to ICU and to the same nurse from earlier. I told her that I had asked God to give me the woman's name and it was Saunders.
She turned and walked around a corner, stopping to examine a white metallic board with black writing on it. On it was the name Saunders printed exactly as it had appeared in the vision. The nurse, also astonished, said, "But she isn't in a coma." I shrugged my shoulders, not knowing how to explain the coma part, but instead asked if I could see her anyway. She said she would check with her nurse. The woman's nurse and another womanthe patient's mother--came to me. I explained what the Lord had told me to do and asked why the woman was in the hospital. She had pneumonia and had been there for a week. I knew this was the woman the Lord had sent me to, so I asked if I could pray for her. The mother agreed and led me to her room.
When I walked into the room, I saw the woman in the bed. It was exactly as my earlier vision--green sheets and all! I told the woman that God had sent me to pray for her and that He was going to heal her. She then began crying. The Lord then told me that she was being healed because of someone's prayer. I told her this and her mother spoke up and said, "Ever since she's been in the hospital, I have been praying for God to heal her." I had brought some anointing oil with me and I anointed the woman's head and prayed for the Lord to heal her. When I was finished, the Lord led me to ask the woman to take a deep breath. When she did, a big smile appeared on her face. She hadn't been able to take a deep breath since she'd been sick. She was healed--hallelujah!
I want to share two great miracles the Lord performed through me recently. If you remember in part one of this teaching ("Freely You Have Received, Freely Give") I told you how the Lord sent me to the hospital to pray for the woman with pneumonia. Four days later, on Thursday, I attended a men's Bible study meeting with a friend of mine at the church he attends. Other than my friend, I knew no one there. After the class was over, we were sitting in a circle and the men began praying around the room. When one of the men started praying, the Lord gave me a vision of this man's back. It looked just like an X-ray and in his lower back, the X-ray was cloudy. The Lord spoke to me and said, "I want you to pray for this man and I will heal him." I'll say this nowthere was no visible evidence of this man having a back injury; and neither did he say anything to this effect that would have led me to know this information. After the class dismissed, I approached the man and asked him if he had a back problem. He said, "Yes, I do."
I then told him of the vision and what the Lord had said to me and asked him if he believed the Lord was going to heal him. Again, he said, "Yes, I do."
I asked him to turn around and when he did, I placed my hand on his lower back, feeling a back brace underneath his shirt. I began to pray as the Lord led and declared him healed in the name of Jesus.
The Lord then told me to ask the man, "What haven't you been able to do since your injury?"
He replied, "I haven't been able to jump up and down without severe pain."
I told him, "Jump up and down."
He began jumping in the parking lot and he had no pain. Hallelujah! He was healed instantly! I spoke to my friend the next week and he informed me that this man was no longer wearing the back brace.
The second occurred just two weeks ago--when another friend emailed me saying that he would be going to the doctor the next day for a biopsy on his prostate gland. He had been suffering with a bladder problem for several weeks, forcing him to wear a catheter. The doctor had told him that his prostate was enlarged and he was concerned about prostate cancer. I called him immediately and offered to come and pray for him. He agreed and I went to his house. During the drive, the Lord gave me a word of knowledge about a situation that had been going on in this man's life--something I was not aware of. When I arrived, I began telling my friend about all the awesome things the Lord had been doing through me--how people were getting healed and delivered. I then began speaking faith and healing to him. While speaking, I felt the anointing of God rising up in me. Apparently, the Lord had told my friend as well, because he blurted out, "I'm ready for you to pray for me." I had brought some anointing oil with me, so I anointed his head and began to pray. As I prayed, the Lord again gave me a vision. I actually saw his prostate shrinking. The Lord gave me another word of knowledge about some pain in his back (again I didn't know this); then the Lord began to speak prophetically through me. I'd tell you what He said, but for the sake of space, the word involved the situation my friend was going through and that the Lord delivered him from the torment of it. My friend's back pain was gone and his face, because of the deliverance, looked different as if it were glowing. I told him to have the doctor check his prostate again before the biopsy and call me as soon as he came back from the doctor. He sent me an email the next day informing me that his prostate was normal. Hallelujah!
Once again, the Lord wrought a great miracle through me. The week of June 7, 2004 I was working for a neighbor in her yard, helping with planting flowers, pulling weeds, etc. and the lawn caretakers (a husband and wife) arrived. My neighbor introduced me to the woman and told her about the ministry and teachings she had received via email. The conversation continued for a few minutes, then we all returned to work. About a half-hour later, I was pushing a wheelbarrow full of pulled weeds to a dumping area and I saw the woman (her name is Judy) standing by their truck. She was taking a break after mowing. When I saw her, the Lord gave me a word of knowledge concerning Judy--that she had a problem with her neck and it had been causing her pain. I dumped the weeds and went over to my car to get a drink of water when Judy came up to me. She asked if I would pray for her boss as he was dealing with some personal issues. I told her I would pray for him, and then asked her if she had neck problems. She replied, "Why do you ask?"
I told her that the Lord had informed me of her problem so He could heal her. Judy said that she had been suffering from tension headaches that are a result of a neck problem. When I told Judy that the Lord was going to heal her, the biggest smile emerged on her face. It was then I remembered the Lord speaking to me earlier--before I left the house. I was getting dressed and saw a vial of anointing oil on my dresser. The Lord spoke to me and said that I was going to need this today. I shrugged my shoulders, put the vial in my pocket and left the house, not knowing what the Lord had planned. Before praying for Judy, the Lord led me to share some other testimonies of healing I had witnessed. He also led me to preach a few words on faith and healing to her. I anointed her head and prayed as the Lord led and declared her healed--and she was! Hallelujah!
