Dear Friend,

The next time you’re in church or at a Christian gathering I want you to listen carefully to the prayer requests. Afterward, I think you will conclude that the vast majority of these requests have to do with sickness, disease, or injury. If this is true, why is it then that it seems that the church has not placed an emphasis upon what the Word of God says concerning such a chronic problem within its own body?

It is obvious that people do not want to be sick and that sickness claims the lives of millions of people each year, so why is the church not providing truths and instruction in order to relieve them from suffering? If the vast majority of prayer requests were because of sinful lifestyles, then certainly most churches would respond with instruction in the Word of God, so why should healing be virtually ignored and reduced to impotent prayer requests that are not made in faith as a result of hearing God’s Word?

For this reason, the Lord has encouraged me to begin a new ministry called Bread from Heaven, where we will be dedicated to sharing and declaring the truths of God’s Word concerning physical healing. The Bible says, Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. [3 John 2]

Because God’s desire for us to be in health is above all things, I feel it necessary to align my desires with His, and make available as many resources as possible for those who are sick and need healing.
